Identify the basic parts of a computer system and the relationships among components.

Define Hardware, Software, Users and Data.
Explain how they work together and what would happen if you were missing one of those four.

Find images that correlate with each of the parts and paste them in your post

  • Hardware is the physical components of a computer, including processor and memory chips, input/output devices, tapes, disks, moderns, and cables
  •
    Hardware

  • Software is a set of instructions or code to be executed by the CPU; designed to help users solve problems or perform tasks.
  • Users are the people who input and analyzes data using a computer
  •
  • Data is raw facts, numbers, letters, or symbols that the computer processes into meaningful information

Hardware is the basis of the computer without it there would not be a computer.  Software makes the hardware useable and effective to our needs and wants.  Users are the driving force behind the computers and put in the data.  Data makes the software useful.  All of the parts are connected together in a cycle of working together to make the most effective computer experience.  Without anyone of the essential parts, the computer would become useless and no progress would be made.
